It actually works just like 6/7 x 14/3...

√14 = √7√2, so

√6/√7 x √14/√3 =
√6/√7 x √2√7/√3

√7s cancel, so you have

√6 x √2/√3

then √6 = √2√3, so, substituting:

√2√3 x √2/√3

√3 cancels in numerator and denominator, leaving:

√2 x √2 = 2
