There is no mystery; no conspiracy. America was attacked by terrorists. America needs to wake up and accept the fact that if we don't kill the terrorists, they will continue to kill us! Stop watching Michael Moore's trash.

The real mystery behind 9/11 is that so many people have simply accepted the U.S. government's 'word' when there is compelling evidence that other forces were at work.
Americans have a Constitutional right - and obligation - to be skeptical of what their government tells them, especially when you consider how many times it lied to them before:
* Speculation still abounds that FDR knew about the attacks on Pearl Harbor, but allowed U.S. soldiers to die so that the U.S. had reason to enter World War II;
* The government has never satisfactorily explained the events surrounding UFOs in Roswell, NM in 1947, especially to those who lived there and witnessed them;
* The Warren Commission's sanitized version of events surrounding JFK's assassination is not accepted by millions of Americans; yet all documents have been sealed for 75 years - until 2038 - when most of us who witnessed that tragedy will be dead and gone;
* The government lied about U-2 spy planes flying over the U.S.S.R. until Khrushchev shot one down and displayed it for all the world to see;
* The government lied about U.S. battleships being attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us directly into the Vietnam War;
* The military lied about affects of Agent Orange on Vietnam veterans;
* The White House lied about a third-rate burglary in the Watergate Hotel until two young reporters dug out the truth and forced the resignation of a U.S. President;
* The Reagan administration lied about an illicit 'arms-for-hostages' deal that ultimately was exposed as the Iran Contra scandal;
* The White lied about 'weapons of mass destruction' that led us directly into a 'war' with another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States of America;
* The military lied about the torture and sexual abuse of 'detainees' until an enterprising whistleblower posted photos of the crimes on the Internet.

I find it 'mysterious' that more Americans - and the media - would not question the government's word about 9/11.

I was totally against conspiracy theories until this last September when Hilary Clinton managed to use her weight to get the movie "Path to 9/11" pulled from the network airing. I have that movie taped so I know what is it in.

I became suspicious as to why she was so against the airing of it so I started actually listening to some of the theories. The documentary about the owner of the buildings making a huge finacncial gain on it caught my attention. (See my posted question today) and I am doing research on the concept.

Hey Intel - are we following each other around today, you seem to be everywhere I go! ☺

There's a gigantic difference between lying and committing mass murder of 3000 people on 9/11.

Just because someone in gov't has lied doesn't mean he can committ mass murder. After all, who do you know who has never lied? If someone has lied, is he then a murderer?

Most of the time when someone in the gov't lies about something, he's just trying to not get caught about some misuse of funds or improper conduct.

While it's not right to lie, it's not gigantic evidence of evil or that these liars can commit murder.

Nothing is that black and white...and one person cannot a catastrophy make. Study history all the evidence of events like 9/11 can be explained by the multiplicity of forces at work in the historical and cultural moment.
