If you value your job and want ot keep working their, jus tfill out the survey. If you could care less, tell them you want it in writing. Seriously tell them you want them to explain in writing why they are not going to give you your check. The nthey will either be very angry and find a way to 'let you go'. But probably give you your check in the meantime. If they still do not give you your check, call the States Attorney Generals Office and explain the problem. They will investigate and you will probably lose your job. Sometimes the battle is not worth the fight.

Unless taking surveys is a documented part of the job, certainly not.
That being the case, how hard is it to fill out a survey?
Is this a battle you really want to fight? Is it an otherwise good job?
If you're just wondering about the legallity of it, you might post an anonymous note to them telling them that phrasing such a request is illegal.

That doesn't sound legal to me. Ask some other employees if they had to do it to get their paycheck. By the way if it's Publix I hate them too. lol.
