Everytime i log onto my p.c. a popup comes up saying "COM surrogate error" how do i stop this error ?

Have you tried System Restore? It's also worth running C Cleaner to see if it can find an error in the registry.

Use a popup blocker from Earthlink or Yahoo!

divx codec error, download new divx codec.
