If it's not an issue for you, then don't worry about it.
Some of the issue is what happens after the sex before marriage. Unplanned pregnancies, with the father to be taking off because they have no spiritual or legal ties to the mother to be, STD's that are rampantly spreading from unprotected sex with multiple partners, the nonchalance sex before marriage creates for sex. Sex is supposed to be shared between 2 people as husband and wife. Sex was supposed to be a gift from God to be shared with your one true love. It is supposed to bond you together in body and spirit, but as you say, what's so special about it? Right there is one reason it's against christian views. It is Supposed to be a big deal, and any more it is less and less.

I think it should be a personal choice. Believe the church views it as wrong due to the fact of pregnancy, STD's and promiscuity and also, that it is viewed as something special between two people, not something to just give away freely with anyone. Personally, I believe no one should judge another because of it or quote scripture to you about it. God gave you a mind to use and to make your own decisions.

sex before marriage isn't such a big deal anymore, but when u focus on the sex part, u really never get to know that person well and may be in for a big surprise once u marry them, because u have invested in the lust part, but u really don't know who they are, and what their belief's are.
