If OSU is ranked #1 there is a problem. Like it or not the SEC is the toughest conference in college football. They make a big deal out of the OSU and Mich rivarly but in the SEC every game is a rivarly game between SEC teams. LSU lost to a SEC team in Kentucky that came to play but shouldn't go against them in the polls. Who has OSU played so far...Nobody!

There may, but you also have to remember the computer factors in strength of schedule which OSU does not have at this moment. In anycase, I think their are a few of games left in their schedule where they can lose- Wisconsin (though puttering out really badly the past couple of weeks), Penn State (because they are playing in Happy Valley and Joe Pat has decent talent), Illinois (Zook has this team going and the talent is emerging), and Michigan (I think this is the best chance as long as Hart is healthy and Henne can find the target).
As for BC, they have trap games also in VT, Maryland (which I think will pull the upset), and Miami (they do well this year as the underdog).
USF has a good chance of losing to Cincy, and Louisville as USF doesn't look like they have the defense to control normally high scoring offenses like these.
South Carolina will more than likely lose to Florida.
West Virginia can make it to the top two spots but watch out for Miss State and Cincy to upset.
I predict at the end of the season OSU will not be number one. You will have LSU back as a 1 or 2, with maybe Oregon or Oklahoma if they conitnue winning, they have the strength in schedule and have enough time for the computer and the pollsters to forget their losses early in the season to make it all the way to the the top 3 spots. Also Southern Cal and Cal still have a slim chance of making it up that high.
Overall, it's the outcome at the end of the season that matters, everything else just stirs the pot. And controversy is good for college football as it gets the fans worked up and causes them to support their team even more, that's why I love college football.

The team that will probably get the most help from the BCS with a loss will probably be Oregon.
And there are many things I may not know, but I know there's no way in Hell Mississippi State upsets West Virginia next Saturday in Morgantown.

Gee golly, what a surprise. All the fans of teams who lost are whining and crying that the BCS isn't fair.
Ohio State won all their games last year people. If that shouldn't earn you a shot in the title game, what the hell should? Just because they lost does NOT mean they didn't deserve to be there.
What the hell has Ohio State done to show they do NOT deserve to be in the title game? I'll answer that: Nothing. Ohio State is a big time school in a major conference. They deserve to be in the BCS title game if they win out, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just a bitter little jerk.

Yes, the ranking system is flawed until there is more interaction with top 25 teams. How can you judge number 1 when top 25 teams barely play any other top 25s outside their own conference. Florida beating Ohio state last year with a blowout is just another piece of evidence. The SEC is too strong to be judged by if they have one loss. There is more to a good team than being undefeated.

The BCS is a joke. For accurate Ratings I use the BGS Power Ratings, found right here on Yahoo!

Not yet, but I really think that the remaining undefeated teams will get defeated, which will cause the so called "deserving" teams to rise in the polls again.
