Why, because an SEC team happened to win the championship last year? Hey, a big 12 team won it the previous year, does that mean the big 12 isnt the same kind of conference as others? Guess what, different teams from different conferences win the championship all the time. If the previous ten winners of the national championship were Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Georgia and LSU repeatedly, then yeah. But that hasnt been the case, take off your blinders to the rest of the world.

Hey Mr. Tunnel Vision! In case you haven't noticed, the SEC is not that strong this year. LSU should have two losses. Florida does have two losses. No one else in the SEC is even scary. A mid-level Big-12 team, Kansas State went up and down the filed AT Auburn, and should have beat them easily. Missouri beat Ole' Miss at home. Cal beat Tennessee. Arkansas and Georgia suck. In actuality, only the Big-12 and Pac-10 have like four really good teams this year.

Maybe you're right. If it comes down to a one loss team then the SEC may have a chance. Right now, OU is the best one loss team- they would beat LSU if they played right now. If Oregon only loses one game a SEC team would have a tough time getting in over them as well.
A one loss SEC team doesn't deserve to get in over a undefeated Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, or ACC team.

Your right but last year the season ended up with 0 undefeated teams. Right now there are 11 i think and a few of them dont play anyone that should beat them. So a one loss team is gonna have a harder time getting to the big game

Or in the Big 12, or in the Big 10, or in the Pac 10. The SEC is one of several really strong conferences, but not meriting any special consideration. Look at once-beaten Oklahoma as an example this year.

Florida's schedule last year was much tougher than LSU's this year, so it wasn't just the loss that helped Florida, but who else they beat in a head-to-head comparison with the Choke Artists in Ann Arbor.

The BCS is a joke. For accurate Ratings I use the BGS Power Ratings, found right here on Yahoo!
