It is most likely that he did not use marijuana. He didn’t drink and didn’t care for anything that befuddled the mind. That said, he was strongly against government intrusion into an individual’s right to do as they wish, including smoke marijuana or drink alcohol.

However, he was a smoker of tobacco. He was a life member of the Montreal Pipe Smokers Club, Einstein was quoted as saying: "Pipe smoking contributes to a somewhat calm and objective judgment of human affairs." He once fell into the water during a boating expedition but managed heroically to hold on to his pipe.

By the way, he was a very sloppy dresser who didn't care what others thought about him.

Man you guys don't spread negativity here! Just chill! Stop being puppet of government who criminalizes use of cannabis without having a good intentions of people in heart. Cos they can't control control the free thinking that weed will induce in the culture and society. Understand man everywhere there will be peace and nothing to make agenda for elections. So loss for the politicians who make issues out of petty things and blow them up just to win elections. World hunger, poverty are the issues man not other bullshit that these politicians blow up for there own good! So stop making weed the excuse for everything that you have wrong with your society! Just stop!

There is no proof that I can find claiming that Einstein smoked marijuana. However, he did smoke pipes and cigars.

I honestly think so. Maybe not to the extent people smoke now a days but there were probably cases where he felt cannabis or possibly psychedelics could give him a better perspective on things.

Nope, don't think so. Only dirty hippies used it in his day and he was not a dirty hippy. He also wrote a lot of papers, most stoners would be too lazy to actually write something.

I don't think so. He was born a genius! He didn't start to talk until he was 4 years old and thats a sign of either mental retardation or extreme intelligence. And as you can see he had extreme intelligence. I'm sure he also realized that smoking was bad for your health and he wasn't that stupid to start especially marijuana.
