I hear you. Look over there (points to west). See the sun is setting on a miserable day.
Tomorrow will be better, even if only by an ounce.

These days? What do you mean "these days".

Since Noah was a sailor and even before that life was miserable.

You're not the first to suffer or be upset and you won't be the last pal. Neither will any of us.

It's the way of the world friend.

I don't think a homeless person on the streets of London in the 1400's would think it was so miserable. Or the Victims of the NAZI's in the 1940's. Besides that, time has nothing to do with it. Its relative to whats in you environment, and your attitude to life. Its all about perspective.

Life is simply what YOU choose to make of it. If you aren't happy then it is up to you to figure out what your gaols are and take action to accomplish them. Nobody else can take responsibility for your happiness except you.

If you are miserable, complaining about it only adds to the misery. If you want to be happy then make the decision to be happy!

You know what they say "Misery loves company". So if you are surrounded by people who feed your misery then change the people you hang out with. Find people who are content and motivated and you will begin to see a change. Like attracts like so if you want to be less miserable, you have to find what makes you miserable and DO something about it.

Because a lot of people don't believe in God and don't wish to follow his word. When you have the empty feeling, it is usually because you hear the silence of God. people aren't listening to him anymore and do as they please. They life negative lifestyles and calim they have fun, but how can it be fun when you have no "real" friends and live a sad life everyday filled with violence and sin....how can that be fun? And then innocent people get caught up in the mess and the whole vibe of the world is sad and depressing. That is why life is so miserable, because humans forgot their place in the world and don't even care to listen, so they suffer.

You mean why is your life? You must be totally self absorbed.Start thinking outside your bubble and you will see there are so many things to find joy in, a sunny day, a good laugh, friends and family, freedom to walk and see anything you please. The only way for a life to be miserable is by choice. I have met many people facing cancer, dealing with death and they have always impressed me with their strength and optimism and capability to find the "Silver Lining".

Maybe you are going through a slump. I have been for the past year. Things have been going wrong and I have a mental battle with myself to try and keep a positive attitude. I challenged myself today to look for the good in things and people and comment on the good. For at least one week, I'm going to try to comment and thank people in some way for the positive things they do. I read Daily Guideposts online and that helps.

You need to find something that you enjoy doing and share it someone, anyone that can appreciate it.

Sorry you feel that way right now. Please, find yourself a good cognitive or behavioral therapist. You CAN have a wonderful life, you just might need a little help is all. None of us do it alone.
