AVG from Grisoft for anti-virus. They're better than Norton, and I'll tell you why. A few days ago I was going to download an attachment from an email, it was all above board and genuine, not a spam attachment. Anyway, it was scanned by Norton which is used by Yahoo! and it said there were no threats. Then when I saved to it my computer AVG warned me that there was a Trojan attached to it! So much for Norton being the best. AVG is definitely a good option for you, and the free version is TOTALLY free.
Edit: For spyware I use Ad-Aware SE Personal. Also Microsoft's Windows Defender, which is available from the Microsoft website and is free.

i take advantage of Avast , I easily have even were given superantispyware and Malwarebytes. i lately replaced to Comodo firewall which seems tremendous and that i look besides up faster. they are all free for extremely own use and that i have had no hassle with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use living house windows Defender from the Microsoft website. that is secure to apply 2 anti-secret agent products yet by no skill use more suitable than one A/V because it may reason conflicts. you should run A/V and anti secret agent weekly. you may ought to discover the proper hyperlinks as i'm now getting violations each and every time I submit a link. feels like I easily have a troll.
