I can say that. On may 30th I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my back and legs to help me to walk again because my nerves are dead in my legs, on June 26th I was in a near fatal car accident that they didn't expect me to live from. Dislocated and broke my hip and my pelvic bone. so I been in pain all summer and still in pain. Medication helps but its a thing that your mind has to let go of some of the pain also. It's very hard to do but I keep telling myself I can't dwell on the pain if I am ever going to function normally again and if I don't want it to beat me and depress me. So I do things I can to take my mind off of it but its still there

I lived in severe pain for over 10 years. I have herniated discs in my neck that cause severe migraines which triggered seizures. Basically, I had no life. I was supposed to have surgery but had ni insurance at the time so I just kept hurting. I had a knot protruding from the back of my neck the size of a grapefruit. The pain meds left me unable to function so I rarely took them. Besides, I have always hated taking anything like that. I just dealt with it the best I could.

My story does have a happy ending as last year I had a friend recommend something that was all natural and I decided to try it. I have been pain free ever since. Thank goodness for good friends! I literally owe her my life! Thanks, Deb!

Bus accident left me with broken ribs, and pain everywhere. Besides special calcium supplements to knit my bones here's what I found helpful for pain:
1) an herbal anti-inflammitory pain reliever.
2) after the bones healed I used pairs of yoga balls of various sizes to massage the muscles and regain strength and flexibility and to keep chiropractic adjustments.
3)an herbal immune stimulant to keep colds at bay while I was recovering.
4) ultrasound treatments,
5) electrode stimulation and moist heat applications,
6) injections of an herbal muscle relaxant, pain reliever.
I got all the above from chiropractic & naturopathic pain-management specialists. I found these helpful, as I'm allergic to most pharmaceuticals.

As of now, I can say that I cannot live with the pain so long. I get rid of it otherwise I start giving every body around me feel as if they are in hell. Who knows about future?

As long as I am sure that the reason for the pain is not causing me additional harm, I just work through it, after a while it becomes a part of you, don't dwell on it and don't let it define you or control your life.

I can. I have R/A, and it's bad enough for only being 28. But I get through it by remaining active and exercising on a regular basis.

Yes, I have this weird thing where I randomly pass out...& one time I passed out & hit my ribs on the corner of the kitchen table...I cracked a rib, so it hurt to breath....All I did was lay in bed/on the couch all day.
