They have to blame something.

They couldnt blame themselves for running an unelectable idiot.

I love how they claim it was given to Bush. Gore demanded several recounts( all of which showed him losing) and even went as far as trying to have military votes discounted.

Now dems please tell us how you support the troops again when you dont even want them to vote.

There were two Florida news papers which performed a post election recount of the Florida ballots across 67 counties. There result was that Bush would have still won and he expaned his lead an additional +1000 votes over Gore.

You did not hear this reported widely BUT you certainly would have heard it if their recount showed Gore would have won..

Why is that?

As demonstrated the popular vote doesn't matter, electorial one do.

The Electoral College is intended to dilute the votes of population centers that may have different concerns from the majority of the country.

At Bush's 271 to Gore's 266 electorial a single state with 3 votes would have tipped the scales the other way to a squeaker 268 to 269

In the states where bush won there was a commanding lead over Gore. There are a couple of exceptions where the vote were closer together (AZ,CO,MO,NH,TN,WV)

Ralph Nader siphoned a significant number of votes away from Gore in Arizona an New Hampshire. Its possible that had Nader not run thes would have gone to Gore. If not giving a victory to Gore in these two state the close results would have allowed a recount there as well.

I am of the opinion that 3rd party candidates can be spoilers.
Nader is the democrates version of Perot spoiling republican GW1 bid against Clinton.

i hit upon it exciting that the right wing will proceed in its delusions no remember what the info. The California perfect courtroom isn't a "liberal activist courtroom," as this decision demonstrates. Liberals imagine this decision is faulty, and also you look to believe that liberal position.

Is your conscious bothering your or something.

Everybody knows GW Bush stole that election. Al Gore won the popular vote.

It's all water under the bridge now.

But get ready for 08, Cause Hillary is going to win and it won't be by one or two little states. I guarantee it.

Of course they did, Gore really won! It was the great vast right -wing conspiracy that stopped him from taking his oath of office.
Hey, let's do it again!

Why are you too blind to see that the election was rigged?

Al Gore had won the election, and then mysteriously they wanted to do a reaccount ... what a coincidence also that Bush's brother was the Governor of Florida.

Hmmmm ... and also coincidentally the only state that needed a recount?

Wow.
