If I could have a sixth sense... I would like to be able to talk to animals through telepathy.

I would choose transference, which is a relatively advanced form of both telepathy and hypnotism combined. When effectively used in concert, these two skills allow the user to not only determine what a person or persons is thinking, and change it to suit their intentions, but more importantly it allows a degree of unidirectional bonding with the subject which has been described by those alive who possess these abilities as like your consciousness leaves your own body and enters theirs, as if your very essence or inner energy force were transferred from one body to another at will, retaining all your own thoughts, habits, memories, and opinions.
For those worried about the potential for something like this, stop worrying. In every case known, it has been impossible for any transference to occur between two individuals if one is consciously resisting on any level, and the process takes several hours with both participants maintaining a fully awake and conscious state most of the time. You cannot be swamped (someone transferring themself into you) against your will.
For everyone else, the real potential for this is extraordinary. Can you imagine being able to discard of an undesirable physical body and enter someone elses? If this technique were used in conjunction with human cloning technology, a single human consciousness could potentially live forever, similar to The Doctor in the new series of Doctor Who, how he can be reborn in a new physical manifestation at will.
I suspect a few religious groups might have a few words to say about that though, lol.

A telekinetic superman. Able to transmit myself or objects to different places. No more need for passports or money. Just go somewhere neat and enjoy. Of course, take a significant other with me would be nice too.
