You absolutely can be allergic to your pill.
Have you recently changed? If not its unlikely you would suddenly develop an allergy to your pill. Talk to your doctor.

I just experienced the same thing last month! I too have fibroids.I was not on BC during that time that it happened to me but maybe it's an estrogen thing. I don't know if you've been reading /researching fibroid tumors but I've been looking around and I found this one doctor (John R. Lee,MD).At first all the stuff I was reading sounded hokey but the more I read it all started to make sense. Also look up the human endocrine system and thyroid issues(even if they tell you there's nothing wrong with you).Your hormone levels can go up and down. Now they suck me on lo/orval and I am worse than before! Research everything....

There is a possibility that you are. I myself am allergic and haven't been able to take bcp for years. Thankfully now, I have two children and had my tubes tied after the second was born so I no longer have to worry about it. Talk to you doctor. The dose might be too high for you, or you might need to switch to a different type.

You probably are. Weather you use pills, injection, or patch, the hormones are processed through the liver. Try a different type of birth control such as the Nuva Ring. It is cheaper than IUD, and no hormones go through your liver.
