I have a vaginal infection (bacterial, not an STD, i've done all my research)...and I was just wondering if I needed to go to a women's doctor, or if a regular family doctor would be fine.

you can go to your primary care doctor or and ob/gyn but either or could treat the problem. Good Luck :-) and get yourself taken care of!

Any Doctor would do just fine but have you considered just asking a Pharmasist about something that would help you sold over the counter?

You probably just have a yeast infection. Go to your local pharmacy and buy a 3-day treatment cream.

My family Doctor can perform gynecological work - but if its your first infection - try the gyne.

its best for you to consult a gynecologist. they have in depth knowledge of diseases affecting women rather than a general practitioner
