i agree with crtbryn!
i had come across that kind of show, where they create jokes and force the audience to laugh!
like u said, mocking their parents, i mean cmon its parents you shouldnt tell a single gesture about them, right?
or even i like to see, when a person blows of their head or something connection with that but they add with a crude humor, and BOOM you have to laugh!!
weird?!!
ps: about your review about mtv or disney, i dont know what to say, either of you are right...
so i would just say that we are leaving in a damn crazy world, and nothing can be done!
so sit tight and enjoy the show,eh??

TV in general nick toons nickoloidan cartoon network I was channel surfin and came accross a cartoon kids were talking about thier parents and one of the cartoon kids told the other " your parents are stupid!' then the other farted and they all laughed.

Im 13. MTV and Disney Channel suck.
I think DC encourages kids to act spoilt because the kids on those programmes do (Suite Life of Zack & Cody)

No. I blame parents who are too scared to put their foot down and call right "right" and wrong "wrong" and who are too scare of political correctness to actually set firm guidelines and instill moral values into the kids.
Parents today shunned their own responsibility and try to blame others for the result of neglecting their own children emotional , spiritual and moral needs (and by saying spiritual - I am NOT advocating any christian or other particular religious idea here - just human need for spirituality in general)

anthony spears makes a good point - it is possible that the disney channel/mtv are simply responding to the way the youth already is.
how do we know for sure whether they are just representative, or proscriptive? It's a chicken and the egg scenario.

There's no doubt in my mind that what MTV and Disney put out there is crap, but I blame the weak minds of their viewers. They're the ones who allow it to continue and drive it to become what it is. Does MTV shape the youth into becoming what it is, or does the youth shape MTV?

TV has a great influence on kids and they more than often imitate what they have seen. Yeah, MTV & Disney is definitly a major influence on how they react.

MTV nope its just about music and stuff so what wrong with that? Disney channel cant stan my lil sister watching those shows. But it does affect them. I dont blame them
