I've been using wireless on my BT Home Hub all of this year until a few days ago it stopped working. I have already asked a question on this but I was blaming my Wii for some reason which wasn't the case.

It was working fine a few times using the standard Windows Connection Manager but now it can't find the Hub. Its all plugged in, I'm typing this from an ethernet-connected computer, the wireless light is solid green, I've power cycled, done the "hold down button at back until it clicks", unplugged it everything, and it won't find my wireless.

Help plz :D

I don't want to ring BT... lol done it before and they are so annoying. "Hello my name is Hajid" etc.

Anyway I've heard of something called turning SSID broadcast off, could that be it? How do I find out if its off etc.?

Call BT, that's what they do.

It could be that the security settings on the Hub have been set so that the Hub's unique ID (the SSID) is not visible - if that's the case, see http://www.frequencycast.co.uk/homehubfaq.html#nowifi

I suspect what's happened though, is the Hub may have been reset and has defaulted back to the factory default settings. May be an idea to set up the Hub for wireless access from scratch - see http://www.frequencycast.co.uk/homehubfaq.html#wireless for guidance. This site also has an audio guide on how to set up wi-fi with a Home Hub which might be worth a listen
