I believe that now that the right wingers and neocons know that the american public has wised up to them, and they are not going to win some elections for a while, that this is part of their plan.

...... get as many as america's children brainwashed as early as possible to grow up on right wing ideology....from a theocratic view of the country...to the rule of the jungle dog eat dog view of economy and of course the belief that the constitution is not about freedom but national security and keeping "us" safe.

They will not rest until we become a full fascist state.

If the book accurately explains the Constitution then I am all for it. The Constitution is for everyone in our country but it serves no one if they do not know what it says. I strongly feel that children should be taught the constitution repeatably throughout their 13 years of public education.
It is a simple document written in simple terms (especially if compared to modern legislation) and everyone in our country should at least be well versed on the basis of our government and law.

Of course she may not accurately explain it in which case it is deeply wrong.

Sounds interesting to me. Her interpetation of what inalienable freedoms the constitution provides, should take what....one very short paragraph?
I am curious as to what material will fill the bulk of the book. Could it be filled with a childs tutorial on the Patriot Act, Waterboarding and other torture techinques, and the "Holy Crusades part 2: the quest for oil."

You've got to be kidding! Cheney's been trying to destroy the Constitution since he and Bush were selected. I'm sure her "abridged" version won't mention the right to be secure in your house and papers, and that messy "unreasonable searches" part.

It probably does make the libs pee their pants in fear when someone who is educated about American writes a book and exposes the young kids to true American history and the Consitution. It thwarts the socialist machine we call the Teachers' Union from shoving its agenda down our childrens' throats. So yeah..... if you're a Hillary style lib, I guess it is very scary. If only the democrats could censor these pesky Americans!
