While traveling in a cab,the rash driver hit a stray dog and killed it. It touched my heart and I felt bad for a long time.I recalled the entire incident the moment I read your question.

I don't own the vehicle I drive so swervings not usually an option. I hit a deer the other day and I still feel horrible, I tried to slow down and avoid it but at the last moment it turned right into me and I hit it =( Didn't do much to the truck but thats definitly one less deer...however the worse thing I've ever seen is when I lived in arkansas, the car in front of us swerved to hit a possum and missed. We stopped and the poor thing had its babies all over the road because it got scared we stayed until they were all got...This is true btw it still really upsets me how cruel some people are.

I have a gray kitty, her name is Punkin. Punkin was born without any eyes, but that doesn't slow her down in the least, she chases flies, can chase a ball around and do just about the same thing any other cat can do. In fact about the only way you could tell she was blind is the hit or miss way she jumps upon the couch. She just throws caution to the wind, and takes a flying leap, sometimes she lands in the right place, and sometimes she doesn't. But it doesn't make any difference to her as long as she gets there eventually. She is very sweet and loving and of course I have to keep her inside to protect her. But on those days when I do take her out when I can watch her. The same awe and fascination with something as simple as a blade of grass is there. This may not be too inspiring or touching, and in fact I was told to put her down when she was born. But I couldn't do that, I just couldn't look into that cute little face and deny her her right to exist.

When you say "touch your heart," it sounds like it makes you happy. You might want to make your question more clear.
As to my answer, I don't run over animals because I don't have my driver's license yet. It probably would affect me if I could drive, though, considering I'm a vegetarian...
