We need to implement "The Fair Tax" and get rid of the IRS and congresses ability to bleed us from our pay checks.

1. We do away with the IRS as it is today

2. We have a flat tax, how much paper would that take? And it would be fair.

3. With a flat tax we would have more disposable income. The more people we get out earning money and paying taxes, the more solid our government will be, and if we had more people becoming wealthy, their would definitely be more jobs created. Get rid of government waste, and privatize things like social security. We would be able to maintain services, and also eliminate many of the very low income , but still be able to care for the needy in this country.

4. The tax code would go out in the bath water with the IRS baby. We certainly would see a difference with the deficit.

The IRS is a total mess and should be replaced by a new tax agency. To correct you...Congress sets up tax rates, not the IRS.

The taxes are complicated, and we spend too much time doing them. The IRS is one agency we don't need.

I had no clue about all the trees that are used for their paper trail. Rediculous.

The taxes are higher than 38.2% for the average American. The 38.2% is what you pay to make it, but how about all the taxes you pay when you spend it, for example, Sales Tax, Excise Tax, Property Tax, etc. When you add up all the taxes you pay, you will find your already paying over 50%.
