I did jury duty, and I felt the same way going into it; I wanted to do it. A lot of it was boring, but I still liked it. I actually was the odd man out and convinced all other jurors to swing my way. They wanted to award this family $0 for damages, and I convinced them to award $500,000. It was an eminent domain case.

I have done jury duty one time. I wouldn't want to do it again. It involved a young man with a pregnant girlfriend, they got into an accident and and he was in question of being drunk. There was no evidence that he was. They also was charging him with her getting hurt. No proof again of her being hurt. Another charge was him hitting an EMT. No proof again. I didn't sleep for days thinking of a child coming into this world with it's father in jail.
