For more than four hours we all had to sit there and listen to both of this "professionals" do nothing but praise the Red Sox in every way they could while talking about the Indians as if they were nothing more than background noise.

Do you think is was unintentional or by design? Your thoughts.

These national people have not followed the smaller city teams they do all they research in the post season so they are in shock just as the world is. My opinion they should let a local guy from each team do the game.

I could not believe how biased they were reporting the game last night! Everything the Bosox did was great, and it did seem the Indians were just there as a punching bag for the Red Sox. Ha ha , the Indians won. I was yelling at the TV last night, I couldn't believe how unfair it was. I know Cleveland is not a major market town,. but it is a great city! I lived there for almost 4 years in the early 90s and the fans there are really devoted to their teams. How about giving them a break, what ever happened to impartial reporting!? Isn't Fox suppose to be."We REPORT, you decide" How about some more old fashion reporting and a lot less deciding for us.

Joe B(s)uck is a homer and anyone is acquainted with it. quite, Fox has a greater useful play-by potential of-play guy that used to paintings for the Tigers, then went to the Rangers approximately 5-6 years in the past, in some circumstances did some Saturday Fox national announces and did a number of the ALDS video games. His call is Josh Lewin and he's acquainted with the sport very such as dollar does, yet is amazingly independent and does a great activity of telling the story of each and every sport. in comparison to dollar, he does not come off as pompous whilst he calls the sport and tells it greater like a tale as in case you have been listening to him on the radio. As for McCarver, he's immediately turning out to be the Pat Summerall of MLB. McCarver commented for the period of sport 7 of the NLCS on the entire capture by potential of Endy Chavez by potential of calling him Eric Chavez. He rarely provides any suggestions it quite is of substance and is probable a three hundred and sixty 5 days previous his best. at the same time as his cutting-edge passing has taken away between the ideal historians of baseball from us, i can't be attentive to the way dollar O'Neill became into by no potential a countrywide color commentator. His memories for the period of a sport could have been spectacular and the actuality that he forgot greater baseball then maximum folk be attentive to could have extra approximately stunning remark.

It's design. Cleveland is not a major media market. It was the same in the nineties when the Indians were in the playoffs. Costas was the most annoying. If the media had it's way, all championships would be New York and LA.

Yeah, I hate it when they have announcers too closely connected with one of the teams! They need to be taken off the air. I'd rather have former/current New York Yankees run the commentary such as Torre, Don Mattingly or A-Rod.

Are you kidding me????? I was rooting for the Indians to win the ALDS so that i wouldnt have to "Derek Jeter is just a spectacular all-around player" and "Alex Rodriguez may just be the greatest player of all-time" and "Mariano Rivera is the greatest closer of all time" as he gives up a run, you hear it every two minutes. They LOVE THE YANKEES. So the Indians win the ALCS, and now its Grady Sizemore this, Trot Nixon that, Travis Hafner this, Fausto Carmona that. they hate the Red Sox, you are just another angry yankees fan.

Both of these guys are blubbering idiots,I'll turn the sound down and listen to the radio.
Yes I don't know why they have so much favoritism to certain teams its really pitiful for a baseball fan to be subject to these "so called professionals"

I am completely tired of them. McCarver just doesn't shut up. Actually the both don't just can it. In fact, they annoy me so much that I bought a T-Shirt from here: http://www.shutuptimmccarver.com/gems.htm

They do the same thing when the Yankees are on Fox.......McCarver is a complete Yankee hater and he's been that way from the beginning.........It's completely by design........My husband, who loved his baseball, would watch every game he could - with the sound off........Their play calling is hyped as well and hubby used to say "They think we're listening to the radio and can't see what's really happening on the field"..................CAT
