It's definitely the other way around. Horses were brought from Europe to America. Ancient civilizations in Europe and the Middle East had chariots and therefore horses. Alexander the Great led soldiers on horses, as did the Romans. European knights rode horses. All of this history happened before Columbus.

Also, Spaniards proficiency with horses played a key role in Spaniards ability to seem godlike and intimidataing to Aztecs and Incas.

They were brought from Europe, to the America's. The Native Peoples of this Continent, perfected the use of horses, better then the Europeans!

according to history they were brought here by the spaniards during there invasion of south america and mexico.
