Flu: Fever, weak, can't eat. Can be very serious & last weeks. I'd rather have a bad cold. You can still function, not necessarily have a fever, you can eat, & it's not serious & doesn't last as long.

flu has you flat on your back (unmoving)Phone a rellie or friend to tend you bedside....
Cold - you have enough energy to retrieve medication and speak to all and sundry during the course of the illness on how bad your FLU is!

well...when i have the flu i normally puke and have a fever and all that stuff. when i have a really bad cold, i just have a sore throat, fever, stuffy nose, etc. so, it really depends on what your symptoms are!!

Cold has cough, sniffles but no fever.
