I am. And believe it or not, so is my husband.
Although neither of us thought we would get to this place in our lives (we both had previous marriages that weren't good).
It is NOT EASY to be happily married. You have to love each other, even when you don't like what one or the other is doing. You have to like each other, even when you aren't happy with a situation. You have to trust and respect each other regardless of any so-called signs that you should think otherwise.
Your spouse is supposed to be your best friend, your lover, your most prized relationship. If you think of it in those terms and care for the "relationship" the way you would a new addition to your family, you will be happy too.

I am very happily married. It will be 10 years in a couple of months. I think the reason is that I married my best friend, we both trust each other, and we both know very well that we alone are responsible for our own happiness. We respect each other, and know that we are different people who may not always want the same thing. There is a lot of compromise and we did not go into our marriage with phony expectations of what a marriage should be. It is just us living our lives together and enjoying what each other has to bring to our union!
Good luck

Me and my husband!
Today's society ruined the meaning of marriage, because they get married for all the wrong reasons.
If you want to get married and stay together till death do you part, then take this advice; you should only get married because you fell in love, you should be together for at least 3-5 years before marriage because you have to know eachother inside and out, mentally, emotionally and physically, ages should be late 20's, early 30's, you should never be selfish, just take care of your partner, not yourself and always make all your decisions together with love, respect, trust and communication.
The perfect marriage! Believe me, there is such a thing.

I'm not too sure if you'll find happily married people online!!
They don't need to come to sights like this, or visit singles sights when their not single.
IF their are really happily married people on here, I do hope they share with you just how happy they are and how to keep it that way!

Yes, my wife and I are happy. And there are many couples who are happy. But I have been in a marriage where I was miserable and very unhappy. If you are unhappy you have two choices. Either fix your marriage if possible or get divorced and then find a mate that you will be happy with forever. It is very possible. (smile)

I see many couple who appear to be happy and I search for the same thing. But we all have issues in our lives that make us unhappy for the moment. Most Newlyweds are happy.
