Today the Western world has money and technology but it has no soul and meaning beyond that. What I mean is that the West is decadent, atheistic and there is basic breakdown of morality and ethical values. So how long will the West survive in this terrible predicament? And what will replace it?

Yours is a very good question and I agree with your description. This is a serious dilemma facing the west both moral and ethical. I don't know the answer but I hope someone does.

To begin with PLEASE do not equate morality with religion!! they are NOT the same thing by any means!
You are however right- people in socety have too much money- they are greedy and weak and pay no attention to ANY moral teachings! This is exactly how the Roman empire fell!! we no longer have any faith in our leaders and we all think we know what's best!! People are also too obsessed with what is best for them!! Our society is about as far as one could get form the one plato outlined in 'the republic'- however i do not think the world is going to come to an end! Is morality really that important as long as everyone is happy??

A civilization the place human beings placed each and every thing interior the ideal type inclusive of questions with regard to the internet... I desire it have been like 2 minutes in the past, yet present could be nice...yet it rather is basically me.

Wow. Harsh. So we have no soul? So who is it that gives millions of dollars to famine, flood, and earthquake relief? Who is it that liberates people from tyranny? Who sends food and shelter, medical aid and free medical care to people who have never seen a Doctor in their lives?

Your propostion is unsupported. Some people are decadent; some are atheistic; some have no morals. We survive.
