Just wondering the logistics of traveling with a double stroller on the various transportation systems. Do they make you fold it up on all of them? (Buses, boats, monorail, tram etc) Please only answer if you have personal experience with this. Thanks!

I go to Disneyland weekly with my double and don't think I could live without the storage. As far as renting we are going to be there too many days for that to be cost effecient.

On the tram at Disneland, if you sit in the very front or the very back of the tram you don't have to fold it. They usually fit 3 strollers across in each section. Is it the same at WDW??

Folding is required on the buses. the monorail there may not be enough room to leave it unfolded, esp. if crowded. same on the boats. Out of respect for fellow passengers, you should do it automatically.

if it's a double wide, it won't fit anywhere , you will have to fold it.

Not that difficult. For buses you might have to collapse it if there is a lot of people. For trams yes you do. Monorail, no you don't. Boats, no you don't. For most lines you have to get out of the stroller at the beginning of the line, most of the time. So I wouldn't leave anything valuable in there (ie cameras, wallet, etc). AS far as cutting in line like a previous person said - I don't know where in the hell they get their information, but they are wrong. With so many families that visit, how could it be fair to choose to who goes first?

I think it would be better to walk as much as you can and bring an umbrella stroller with you, rather than lugging a double stroller or renting one. You rent at Disney for $16 day. You can probably by one at Walmart for $20.

Ive seen people do them, and my aunt does. But on the busses it gets pretty crowded so you have to fold them up. I suggest in the parks you rent a double stroller. it is not that expensive. and you cna use your stroller if you need one for the airport/hotel

Yes, you will be required to fold them and hold them on all transportation. Moving through crowds can be frustration too, and you have to park them when going into line for rides and shows.

i have seen people do that, and i think they are fine with it. an added bonus is that you get to cut every line for rides! but a bad thing is that you have to fold it up and take it with you everywhere. i HIGHLY reccomend staying at the contemporary resort, the polynesian resort, or the grand floridian. they all have monorails, and you can just walk onto them with the stroller. if you stayed anywhere else, you would have to fold it up and take it onto a usually VERY crowded bus. they have this whole elabrate procedure where they lower the bus to one side, and there is a really loud buzzer thing that goes off when they do it, and this is all so you can roll your stroller on. i would VERY HIGHLY SUGGEST staying at the hotels i mentioned earlier for an easier trip. hope that helped!
