Personally i think its because their gutless, selfish cowards, generation Y that is.

I'm from so-called Generation Y.Perhaps I'm not typical of this generation.
Maybe this grouping of people thing is simply generalising.

If generation Y are gutless, selfish cowards, then they have had a good lesson from a government that gave us the Tampa crisis and children overboard just to name a few issues that little Jackboot Johnny has relied on to win elections. The sooner the gutless, selfish cowards in government are voted out the better.

I'm hardly one of the "new generation." I am 53 years old and I can honestly say I've never been more ashamed of this government than these past two terms under Bush. Don't equate hatred of the government with being gutless or selfish, or patriotic for that matter. You can love your country and hate the policies of the government. The biggest challenge is trying to overcome cynicism and work for positive change. I bet you are one of those people who drives a gas guzzling SUV with a yellow magnetic "support our troops" sticker on it. I don't envy this generation one bit. We've left a big mess for them to clean up.

The question applies across the Pacific as well.
How can you not hate an inefficient, expensive, and overreaching entity that goes out of its way to basically say you don't know how to run your life, so let us do it for you.

I dont hate the government....I am just tired of busting my *** with a job, college and trying to raise 2 teenage daughters when the own government cant make dead beat pay his 15,000.00 behind of child support or help me with insurance that I cant afford to get for myself but we sure the hell can support these foreigners and use our money in other stupid matters............I think the government needs to worry about its own....people that are starving and living in poverty in the US
