My mother-in-law...

I once got up at 2am and stumbled towards the toilet. I was sitting there with the door open and suddenly a mouse came running out the kitchen - I freaked and kicked the door shut! I live in a 1930s purpose built building on the ground floor and sadly this is a problem I have to live with no matter how clean I keep the place.

Anyway, I put traps down with peanut butter on them, I checked the traps the next day and unbelievably the traps were not triggered but the peanut butter had gone - clever f*****g mouse!!!

In an upstairs apartment I used to live in, I had found a giant wolf spider, this thing was almost half the size of my palm, so I captured him and kept him in a big jar and fed him bugs, he lived almost a year in there til a friend took him out and turned him loose outside. But the really weirdest thing was a tiny petrified frog I found in the back of my closet, with a hole in it's little skull, and i figured the wolf spider had sucked it's little brains out, and wondered how on earth a tiny frog had gotten into my upstairs apartment in the first place. I took the tiny petrified frog and painted him with bright red metallic nail polish and glued in some little green 'gems' for his eyes, and still have him. How's that for weird?

When i was little my dad took me yabbying. for those who don't know a yabbie is like a little crayfish. Anyway we had them all in a sealed polystyrene box and in the middle of the night i woke up and heard this weird stratching. I went out side my room and there was this yabby crawling across the kitchen floor. When I went to put it back, the box was still sealed. I have no idea to this day how the hell that thing got out.

When I moved into my new house 5 months ago, for the first 6 weeks I found slugs in my kitchen every morning. I was horrified & disgusted, I really hate slugs & the idea of them in my kitchen made me want to throw up! Finally found where they were getting in & blocked the hole up. I'm still traumatised though, lol!

I found a possum up in the ceiling in my basement. It was a very frightening experience!! I heard noises and hissing and I had no idea what it might be. I called the local animal control and they found him up there. He was really ugly and very nasty. Kind of light colored with a long tail!! Scarrrrrrry!!!!! I have no idea how he got in the house!!

A cave cricket......I thought I was infested with some evil armadillo, spider, cricket cross...I was afraid of my own home! And I only found them because when they die....you can really really smell them, it literally smells like rotting flesh. I was calling just about every exterminator possible at 2 in the morning. Then I moved!
