I was just interested really, i've had people before call me posh. I mean most of my clothes come from Jack Wills, we shop at Waitrose and I talk properly does this mean i'm "posh"?

First off, look at your skin. Are you white? No? I'm real sorry, you're ******, you'll never get ahead, unless you are brown and good at math/science, then you should move to the USA. Are you white? Well then, that puts a whole new paint job on things! Who do you worship? if your answer is not Jesus, then you might as well be black (or brown but horrible at math/science) because you're done for, unless you have a penis. Do you? If not, you're worthless. Probably a liberal. If the lord, Jesus' father, blessed you with the magic shaft, then you have one final question: are you a Republican? If not you are lower than Mexicans. You're probably in favor of gay rights and a woman's right to choose. You WILL burn in hell forever! If you are a white, straight republican man with slightly subdued homosexual tendencies, then you, my friend, are HIGH CLASS!!!!!!

Just think of the type of people you are in awe of and the type of people you are glad you are not. As there are only three classes, the poor the better off and the outrageously well -off, you probably fall in the middle class the bourgeoisie who create a crude version of aristocracy.

Lol...these days social class shouldn't matter to anyone. I really hope you're not too serious about this...otherwise you could either end up feeling inferior to others, or you will look down on others. But it is a really interesting question...and I will await the replies of more experienced persons with great anticipation! :)

Financially, people are usually delegated to low-income, middle-income, or high-income. You can determine which financial "class" you are in by going onto the internet and looking up each financial strata.
Socially, you know your class status by the people you socialize with; i.e., school board members, city politicians, respected businessmen and other community members.

Why does it matter to you?
In India there is caste.
In the US there is nothing to determine where you came from.
In the UK, I have no idea about privalege.
