I have a netgear wireless router. it was working fine until one day i reformatted my laptop. the laptop has an built in card. i also asked the company for another router but the problem doesn't seem 2 come frm the router. B4 i formatted my laptop their used 2 be a box that pops every time i log on. but it doesn't appear now.
I think the problem comes frm the setting of the computer. Any ideas ??

I had the same problem, and had to disconnect the router to get back on line.

Problem is with your laptop. When you reformatted, you erased all of your drivers. It looks like you did not reinstall all of your drivers back and the driver of your wireless device is missing. Just install it and configure your wireless connection so that it could connect with the router.

I think you have a software problem. Not all drives/programs/settings needed are installed or set
