we refer to it as the CRT electron display apparatus...
and we dont give it a name... we just ask..whats on tonight?
then we shrug; and go back to doing some work on the PC... TV sucks...
ive a man, who provides free to view cable TV on DVD...
24 costs me fifteen quid a series... no adverts... and its really TV on demand...
nowadays i rarely watch (live) TV... or if i do, then i buy the series soon after and watch it again... 24 is well, 24 episodes, and it takes 6 months... at least on DVD it only lasts 4 days... and you remember what went on... no need to hear jack say...previously on 24... and with NO adverts, wow its good... 4hours of jack is only 3 hrs in "real" time..
its the same for House / Greys / Spooks / the Prisoner / and almost any other series one would want to watch... even the old back catalogue stuff is available...
Modern TV sucks...

I keep getting my PC and the TV mixed up. I think the TV screen is the monitor and my mouse is a remote control. That's what happens when you spend to much time on Y!A. LOL §

5....I don't watch very much, but the rest of my family calls their monstrosity of a 8ft screen of some kind of high tech hd projector thing "ZUES". It is too complicated for me to turn on, but the kids make it go for me when the Phoenix Suns play.
