I would go on a quiet country road and wave a flashlight around towards the sky. I would wear at-shirt with an alien on it and wrap some aluminum foil on your head this lets them know you want to be picked up. It's their version of hailing a cab. It might take a while to get abducted though because there is limited seating on their spaceships.

Send random long-range radio signals into space. The aliens will get curious and come. Light will not travel far enough unless you have a large laser.

Every UFO show I have seen say you have to be on a one lane country road, preferably wooded or a very desolate farmhouse. I suggest you buy some land in a desolate area and just be very very quiet. :-)
