The end is pre-determined. The finishing few moments are normally pre-booked as well.
The smaller the show the more the rest is ad libbed. Ceratin Wrestlers will ahve certain spots they like to use and the wrestlers will discuss this beforehand.
In the ring it is the job of the Heel to "Call" the match. That is they say what will happen and where it goes. The tempo is called by the Ref who normally has guidence from the booking team (How long the match will go, the finish etc)
the bigger shows have House Shows before hand to give the wrestelrs a chance to work together.
To squash a misconception. No they do not rehearse for weeks before hand. On smaller shows the Wrestlers may only meet on that night, do their thing, pack up and leave ready for another show against somebody else in a a couple of days.
The hits, the bruises, the injuries, they are real, but they are done in a way that protects your opponants.
Anyone who says it's fake is a misinformed twit. They know where they will finish and where they are going. So do gymnasts and figure skaters, is that fake.

If you believe that wrestling is real...you need help. Even as a kid I knew it wasn't. It doesn't take a genius to see that if A hits B in the head with a chair...and 5 seconds later B is up and walking again...something's not right.

that is blended Martial Arts it really is genuine and that is a truth, they have rules and rounds a twin of boxing.search for it on the internet and also you'll see. with the aid of very undeniable truth that that is genuine that is fan base has gotten so massive that that is were given WWE in a submission and that is WWE's top rival(regardless of if that isn't any longer wrestling). adult adult males like Undertaker and The Rock are followers of UFC.

Only morons follow this as a real sport. I have known professional wrestlers off and on my whole life. Let me clear some things up for you.
1. Yes the falls and the flips are real and they hurt like hell.
2. Chairs to the back are real and do hurt, but how to hit and get hit with one is practiced to minimize injury.
3. The winner of each match is decided way ahead of time and the entire match has been rehersed many times before you see it.
4. Titles mean nothing. This is not a sport. THIS IS NOT A SPORT. It is a soap opera for men.

"Professional Wrestling" is not real but the wrestling taught in school is.
It's too bad the "Pro's" can't have honest matches like the kids. I guess they are too worried about getting hurt and messing up their hair.

I've never beleived wrestling is real. To be honest, I've always viewed WWF type wrestling to be like soap opera's for men....they are so fake and so dramatized, just like soaps (which I don't watch either)

It's just a soap for men. I can't believe anyone with half a brain would think it's real. So that leaves about 3 billion people.

Wrestling is a form of entertainment. But unfortunately it is NOT REAL. All the matches are rehearsed and planned.
