i recently told someone that most of my friends are female (and i am male) and he said that every male needs male friends to take about Male things but i never felt the need to talk to a male about male things!!
I'm more of a thinker than a talker, so what does the typical man talk about?
(other than football/sport in general?)

Other than football/etc., I think probably women mostly.This can be grotesquely or just the normal"Why do women do that?" stuff.They more than likely aren't talking about anything that would make them seem weak in any way, like stuff from their childhood or how they really dig needlepoint.
I am a lot like you myself, only I'm a woman who has more male friends.I don't trust women at all but if you're comfortable w/ them & if you would rather hang out w/ them, don't worry about it.Being a thinker is a good thing-silence is golden.And you're probably very envied by all males who see you hanging w/ all the ladies! ;-D

You blew my answer--all I've ever seen men talk about was football (either American or soccer) and sports in general.
Total strangers, boss and employee, I bet even mugger and victim discuss running game vs. passing game, box scores, or some such arcane subject as if world peace depends upon it.
So, since I have no new answer for you, could you please tell me why this is? Or maybe the subject switches to deeply secret topic as soon as myself and any other women are out of earshot. Help! I wanna know!
