Here is the question:

P.S. (i can't get the degree sign on my keyboard)

" Two angles of a triangle are 54degees and 72degrees. Find the ratio of the size of the third angle to the sum of the first two. "

I just don't know what it wants

The sum of all angles in a triangle is 180 deg. so your 3rd angle is 180-(54+72) = 54 deg..assume that 54 and the 72 are your first two angles.

the ratio will 54: (54 + 72) 0r 3 : 7

The three angles of a triangle always equal 180 degrees. That means the third angle has to be 54 degrees. The sum of the first two angles is (54+72) 126 degrees. Thus the ratio of the third angle to the sum of the first two is 54:126. That can be reduced to 3:7.

the total angle is 180. Obviously the third angle is(180-54-72)=54
Sum of the given angles=54+72=126
ratio 54:126
simplest ratio=3:7

ok you need to get the value of the 3rd angle and the sum of the first two. Then finally get the ratio

a. 3rd angle = 180 - 54 - 72 = 54
b. sum of the first two angles = 54 + 72 = 126

c. size of 3rd: sum of the first two angles = 54:126 = 3: 7

inside angles of triangle always total 180

so first figure what that will be 180-54-72 = missing angle

and it looks like a common factor of 54 and 72 is 18
so see if that one works

good luck - I won;t do it for you

well the other angle is 54 degrees if that helps. (cus there's 3 angles)
and i think the ratio will be something like....

3:3

not sure sorry lol x
