If this is truly intended as a funny gag against a friend, why would you be worried about him filing charges against you? I would think again about how funny this prank will actually be.
To answer your question more directly, I would be very careful here. Depending on what you actually say in your ad, and how you identify your friend, a savvy lawyer could get you for fraud, slander, identity theft, etc. If your friend claims your prank actually caused him harm, you could wind up paying him a lot of money - then who will be laughing?

it is illegal to use anothers id however it is not illegal to have fun amongst friends depending on how your friend takes it you could end up getting in trouble
it could be federal case identity theft
however in order for a crime to be committed there has to be an intent if your intent is to merely pull a prank you may get off with a lesser punish ment i mean you probably be out of jail in 10 years not bad . if your young enough in ten years you`ll have time enough to it do it again

It's called fraud. It's illegal and you will or can be prosecuted under our laws. Not to mention the fact that he may kick your ***.
