I want to buy one to protect my eyes from the UVrays. What brand is good in the market (for ladies)?

i think dark tint protects more from sun rays.. lighter shades are gud for the fall when it is not too sunny....
brands: i like rayban the best.. then... prada and versace....
i like the sportive ones in oakley but they are not as gud as raybans.. try the polarized one for better protection...

How dark & what color lenses are not what determines the amount of UVA/UVB protection a pair of sunglasses provide.
Sunglasses w/ a gray tint for the least color distortion. Check the rating of the UVA/UVB protection. Polarized lenses prevent distortion.

I certainly have a common pair of Oakley colorings offered at Galean's (now Dick's carrying products), which I took to a eyeware keep, and that they created lenses for the frames I offered. you will get genuine Oakley prescription lenses, which would be very high priced, however the lenses I have been given are polarized, sought after and look like they got here with the Oakleys. finished cost: $ninety for the colorings, $ninety for the prescription lenses.

Ray Ban...it has a UV shield and has the most effective sun protection!! And yep, dark tinted ones work better and look great too

Definitely get a darker shade. Fashion glasses don't really protect your eyes; they are usually nothing more than an accessory - then again the new 70's glasses (http://njmg.typepad.com/shoptalk/images/2007/06/29/white_2.jpg) are normally very good and they're in fashion - I have 2 pairs myself and they tend to be in a dark shade.
The darker, the better.
