with limited resources you would think that people would weight the risk with the potential. this seems to be a very low risk and appears to be a method to fill the city coffers with more revenue by making sure all vendors have to purchase a license, not a bad idea in case of wrong doing. but the risk of this city being a target seems very low and appears to be hype.
also, one wonders that if the terrorist had not thought of this, will they now? we should not dismiss the possibility for our food supply to be used against us, especially in light of the recent and numerous recalls. as we become more global and food supplies more varied, the potential for this risk seems to be increasing exponentially since our government is not prepared to keep up with the safety issues this presents us...another 'fallout' of the global trade agreements that benefit the importer with no advantage for the American public and many disadvantages.
it boggles the mind, or at least my mind.

This was an idea by democrats about terror????
How about the democrats thought about a possible tax on gum balls???
That has to be the underlining idea.
See folks the dems have a new way to tax even small children.
So just wait if hillary gets in, what will she tax next??? Perhaps cigars you know like when bill used an intern as a humidor.

Dead Hero, get out of your parents' basement and go get a job! And if you can find a female who'll put up with your crap, a girlfriend!
You'll see, it feels MUCH better when you're part of the human race.

All joking aside...I've always thought we are vulnerable to food contamination by the enemy...as silly as it sounds, I want the enemy thinking we are looking EVERYWHERE for their evil work....

Well, on October 12, 2000 the USS Cole was bombed by members of Al Qaeda. Clinton's had nor response except to say that since the target attacked was military it wasn't terrorism. 11 months later we had 9/11! He played with words and innocent people died.
Do not trust a democrat with your security!
