My question is a real question, read on to find out more.Can a female smell when they need to,clean down there

Ok, my sister has a girl dog and it is her time of the month, my brother was going on and on about how she smells. My sister was just totally denying it. I didnt know what he was talking about until sadly about a half hour later she got near me and the smell hit, big time. I reacted to it badly, and my sister asked what was wrong and I told her and she said, "your crazy, I just gave her a bath this morning." Then some well educated men in the house told me that, females cant smell, THAT smell. And I said it was total B.S. due to the fact a smell is a smell, no smell can hide from your nose, considering its working just right. But they insisted that this is true. So with that I turn to you my Yahoo community, lol...is this true? I couldnt believe it but the women in the house totally agreed together that they smelled nothing, which made me think, "my God, are the guys right?" So please can someone please set this straight.

The scary thing is, I knew a girl that once...had a bad smell to her, and yet...did not seem to notice it especially after coming out of the bathroom...So that really made me think this might be true!!!

The thing is, there is more to this "smell" than just the actual smell. It is chock full of hormones that guys are much more equipped to detect. The actual odor along with the hormones which a female will not pick up creates an essence that guys will notice from a mile away but girls are oblivious to. This is all completely true. It's biology.

I wrote this with a healthy, clean female in mind. It's a different thing if the girl has hygiene problems, then everyone can smell it. nasty.

You're right. A smell is a smell. A dog in estrus has a pretty powerful odour. Nature made it that way to attract males because the females are only receptive during that time.
And, to answer the other part of your question, humans don't have quite the same nature. A woman can have an odour (a mild natural muskiness). Anything more powerful indicates a problem - infection or a need for a shower. (Sorry, girls, but there are people who don't keep themselves clean enough.)

No that is not true. Women can smell themselves. Some people tend to become immune to the smell if they don't clean properly or maybe they are just crazy. I sometimes can smell when other women don't take care of themselves down there if the stand or sit close to me and it is not a good smell. I make it a point to keep myself fresh at that time of the month

Yes, sometimes I can smell the blood on me when I know I'm going to start my period. But at any other time if we have a smell it can mean an infection and should be checked out by the doctor to see what they think.

As for the dog, I would recommend checking with the vet as well to see what they say.

anyone who has body odor usually can not smell themselves, male or female. they live with the smell and get used to it. take your sister aside and tell her about douches, she may not be getting herself clean. she also may need to see a Dr. for a woman to stink when on her period is not normal, and she may have a vaginal or uterine infection.

if it is the dog that smells bad, some people have more sensitive noses than others. try giving the dog some chlorophyll when she is in heat. it will get rid of the odor and is readily available from any health food store in capsule form

Men can smell bad vaginal odor as well as women. Some times it is not a clean issue it is a medical issue. Bad smells means infection, Cancer, yeast, or something of that nature. But both sexes can smell it.

this is rather captivating....It introduced a tear to my eye. regrettably nonetheless, there are some who in no way fairly enjoyed interior the 1st place.....have been in no way arranged to hold her for even a minute. If in uncomplicated terms life would desire to be that easy. regrettably I hear of too many people in an abusive concern the place they dont in basic terms no longer carry their better halves, they beat them into submission.....that form of marriage should not be stored. yet I agree, if there become like before everything, then it rather is salvaged and divorce shouldn't embarked upon till all different avenues have been exhausted.

Hell,some girls gan't figure out when their own smell is bad,I doubt the smell of a dog would be noticed.

i don't think so. actually women has a higher sense of smell than men. so maybe she's just immune to her own smell (i think)....
