When my grandbaby came home from school Friday and came running in to see me. She threw her arms around my neck and said. "I love you Granny. Did you miss me today?"

I'd rather be touched than spoken to. Words do not carry as much weight with me. Don't get me wrong I enjoy talking but generally the human touch has more meaning.

a few weeks ago.a neighbour was in a spot of bother and i just listened and held her arm.it was sad but rewarding to know she could let it all out and move forward.cheers.
