It usually hurts and bleeds a little. You probably would have noticed if it had happened. Then again I think it can happen gradually from something like bike-riding, rather than being penetrated, so it's possible it's broken. You can look with a mirror if you want to see, or ask your doctor, or just wait to find out when you have sex.

Yes, for some women it can hurt. When mine broke at 18 due to getting my first pelvic exam and pap smear I didn't feel any pain when my hymen was broken. I didn't know though that it was broken until a number of years later when I had to start using medication vaginally for certain problems I had going on at the time. Then I could also see it with the mirror.

optimistically you're sufficiently previous and arranged for this step. i for my section broke my hymen while using my motorbike. I fell on the bar and it harm and that i bled slightly. all of us is diverse. some females don't experience it in any respect at the same time as others basically experience a tightness and then it is going away. some bleed a lot (which skill a number of vast droplets of blood) at the same time as others in common terms have slightly crimson on the sheets. in case you're scared, possibly you may think of approximately waiting until eventually you're advantageous and emotionally waiting. good success.

Breaking the hymen is not painful in itself, unless it is so thick that penetration is difficult. Usually is not the case, the hymen is easily torn or broken by sports, bike riding, horse back riding, etc.
