I would take the time to learn the piano, learn how to paint artistically with oil, sculpt, ice sculpt, count cards in black jack, learn a few trades, a bunch of different languages; basically I'd absorb as much information as possible about anything and everything I'm interested in. I'd also answer a all of the open questions on Y!Answers, and last but not least: I'd fly to Africa (I learned how to fly while time was paused), and scour the diamond mines for as many gems as would be required for me to retire early and allow me, my wife, and son to live comfortably for the rest of our lives.
However, if you could stop time for a day, then how do you know when the day is done?

It would be cool for a while then it would be boring...there is only so much you can do with posing people...
I'd just go around checking hot chicks out all day...I'd strip then naked and just stare in awe...You could have your way and wouldn't get caught..
My biggest fear of stopping time would be the device being useed might get damaged and time would get stuck that way, then you would live a very lonely life...
Like that episode of the Twilight Zone or was it The Outer Limits?

That would be awesome.
Alright I would first of all take off all my clothes and run around naked all day long. Then I would find a girl I liked and make out with her. I would take pictures and when she didn't remember say see you made out with me, probably I would make her naked too. You must have been drunk. Oh wait maybe just for fun I would rob something but I don't like that so I would probably feel bad if I did do it. I would get people to do whatever I wanted maybe make them pose.

hehe, if you only knew...boats would be lost at sea...there would be all sorts of sports cars missing and license plates stolen and every car would be put into storage for later use...I would get quite a bit accomplished , have diamonds and make a few good cups of coffee...and I dont know when I would let time start back up again...I would love to position people in precarious situations and have them wonder what the heck happened, like panties around ankles...guys hands on girls chest....People driving in wrong side of car, but car is turned off...I would put like 10 people in a phone booth and let them come back into time in that state wondering wtf? Harmless but funny. Sorry to those I took advantage of...but why the H E double hockey sticks not if you could? hehe:)

that would depend on if I would still age or if I could stop that for the day too, and if I could manipulate objects or if they would be destroyed by the instant acceleration, if time has stopped for me, my hand touching something would be like a 500 pound lead weight being fired out of a cannon.

Not only Stop Time for one day, It would be nice to turn back time so we could spend more time with loved ones who are no longer with us.
