CSI is entertainment.

CSI regular portrays things that aren't possible. Such as zooming in on footage from a camera to a resolution that's not possible. If the data isn't there. It isn't there.

CSI also regularly has them stumped by stuff that shouldn't be stumping them at all.

It's just a show.

The show actually mentions people who know how to get rid of evidence those people didn't watch CSI they studied the same books the real CSI studied they studied how they were going to do the crime and they studied everything that could go wrong because they know what they want to do and how they are getting away with it. Those people don't need CSI its the parents and kids that think their neighborhood is safe because its a suburb that need CSI its more of a warning for potential victims then a educational tool. Besides science is always moving ahead there is no way a show could keep up with it and in some cases would be allowed too.
Think of it this way when the RAZR phone came out Motorola was probably almost finished developing its successor and in secretive prototypes with the next successor and doing market and technology research on the successor after that.

not likely even if you watched all the csi episodes you would still make a mistake somewhere and it probably would have nothing to do with forensic evidence (most murders are solved by good old fashioned police work) and the csi shows are not teaching anything they are providing entertainment

Long answer: CSI never does things by the book. If you murder someone like they do in CSI you will get yourself injected, lethally.

Short answer: no.

you need a lot more knowledge to get away with murder than the TV supplies you.
You need to be an expert of some sort

I really could not care less about the show, however. Nobody give away all the secrets Additionally persons committing a crime rarely think it out completely. That is why they commit crime, they don't think.

They are not teaching anything. The things they show on there have already been discovered by law enforcement. So it is no big secret to the cops.

I think that people do learn from such TV shows, but the people who make them, do so because, simply, we want it... It's all about profits...

But I agree, why do they censor drugs and swear words, but let people learn how to get away with crimes...

It's not televisions' fault. There is something called "personal responsibility".
