Get to the root of that feeling. Define 'progress' for yourself and make a plan to move in that direction again.

It does help to talk to others about it.

I was in a soul-sucking dead end job several years ago and fell into a depression because of it. I couldn't see any way out of it. I felt trapped. But I got some sense talked into me and it turned out to be easier than I thought to change things for myself; I just couldn't see it because of the depression.

You're the only one who can change it though. You can do it!

If you looked back at your life and what it was like 10 years ago, it's likely you'll see that today--you've come a long and better way. And back then--you had NO clue how much better and farther your life would take you.

So, given you NOW feel life is on a plateau; stalled out.....take heart and realize the best simply hasn't yet been written.

Sail on through life with your current compass heading......and soon, you'll see life take some pretty interesting turns, hopefully for the better. You're the Captain of your own life's ship---so make it happen.

I hate that feeling of "in-limbo". Well, maybe you are meant to be taking it easy and not pushing things too fast, or maybe you've come to the end of the road in this area of your life and it's time to take a new road.
