My friends cannot afford to have a child and do to medical complications, they were advised to not have the baby.

The only option is to have an abortion but thier finances are very limited. Can anyone tell me of a clinic that is not disgusting and dirty that she can have this procedure done?

They live in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles.
I know this is a difficult subject and I hope I don't offend anyone who reads this but she has no other option...

Thanks

tell them to apply for medi cal. I live in california and when I applied for medical..I was automatcially accepted and my abortion was paid for. I went to bakersfield and when you are covered by medical...being up in san fernando...bakersfield would maybe be a 2 hour drive but if they can afford at least a one night stay there...that's what I did. I had to get one done due to medical problems as well. She should get medical automatically because she is pregnant. If you have more questions, contact me and I'll be happy to help in any way and support in any way I can because I have been there.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and I am a lot older than 31. I am not living there now but I go back from time to time and travel the entire LA area as a matter of fact. There are problems everywhere and every big city has pretty much the same stuff going on. Out of the cities you mentioned, if you were to move, I would go for Phoenix area. Not right in the city but north of there. In fact, the more north you go the better the weather is. The economy seems to be less drastic in that area. Portland from what I read is having a very bad time with their economy. Even though it is a beautiful place and probably you would love it there. They have some of the best transportation around. Have you considered living in Northern San Diego County? Do your homework but there are cities that are affordable. At least compared to SFValley and Orange Cty. Also, you have very good weather and I would think for a young single guy it would be fun. Also, check out Northern Cali. We were just in Roseville, east of Sacramento and it was reasonable and lots of stuff going on. Just do some traveling if you can to see for yourself.

I don't think any clinic is going to be free. They should speak to someone at planned parenthood to perhaps see what their options are about abortion.

You have valid reasons to move out of L.A so yes you should say goodbye to L.A. You'll miss all the nice things in L.A but is it worth being unemployed to enjoy it? If you do move come by for a visit if you have the chance.

tell your friends to go to planned parenthood in their neighbourhood, they can tell them all the information they need.

BTW: there are herbs and oils out there that can and will cause abortion in the early stages of pregnancy and will promote menstruation. they are called Emmenagogue oils and herbs, below is alink you can read up on which ones can cause this, however it is not always guarenteed and can and will cause defects if the pregnancy survives so please think seriously before going ahead with any of these.

I've never heard of free abortion clinics but there are tons of free adoption services, all kinds of help for that! They pay for everything & help however they can to place the baby in a loving home. Please tell your friends that there ARE other options and that abortion is devastating to everyone involved.
