he/they were a breath of fresh air after the 'glam-rock' years of the 70's,and the fed-up youths suddenly had an outlet for their anger/energy.i think they have encouraged some people,not to give a f*ck about what other people think,to express yourselves,its all good,and never mind the bollocks is an iconic album which is regularly included in most peoples 'top tens'.(although sid never played on it,he was more exciting than poor old glen!)

No he doesn't inspire me and never has done, he was just a bad influence on the fans at the time and was a no hoper who wanted fame and got it at a price, Pete docherty is going the same way,

yup, when i first heard them they inspired me to get out of conforming and do what i want to do, it's not like anyone can/will stop me
