That early in the pregnancy she may not feel like eating, I didn't have morning sickness, but I was not hungry. It's normal to lose a little weight in the beginning but her appetite should increase. She does need to make sure she gets enough calcium, either with dairy or supplements. If she doesn't get enough, the baby will take what it needs out of HER bones to make sure it gets enough. She can also get leg cramps if she isn't getting enough.

So the deal is when you're pregnant you need to consume 300-500 more calories a day. Now although she may not be hungry she should be at least snacking during the day for the baby and definitely getting her fluids. I still struggle with eating because I don't wanna gain a bunch of weight and have it hard to lose but I drink something all the time whether it be juice, water, or milk even though I'm not particularly fond of the last two but I do it for the baby. The baby is the priority so just make sure she at least has a snack every few hours, drinks plenty of fluids, and limits her caffeine intake to about 2 glasses per day. Some will mix decaf with their regular coffee so they still get the caffeine effect but still succeed in reducing the level of caffeine they consume. Hope this helps...congrats and good luck!!!!!!!

I don't think you have to worry a lot some women at the beginning of a pregnancy you are too sick or some food don't appeal you or you just aren't hungry but later as the pregnancy goes further along she will change her eating habits i wanted to sleep all the time the first 4mths after all i wanted was salads fruits and California rolls (not raw fish) i lost 30lbs when i was preg but the baby was healthy weigh 8lbs8ozs so you see we are all different and along the way there is different feelings just support her and watch her talk to the doctor with her when you both go in so the Dr will talk to her too Good Luck to both of you

I ate a lot less for about the first six months of my pregnancy. My appetite got very poor, plus for some reason my stomach couldn't handle as much food. Talk to the doctor about your worries, but I would say she'll probably be allright, although she definitely needs to drink more water than that.

every pregnancy is different and some women do not eat alot just because they arent hungry, as your wifes pregnancy progresses so will her hunger, as for now her drinking a cup of coffee is not harmful to the baby and as long as she is eating and drinking and taking her prenatal vitamins your bubba will take everything it needs from her body.

In the beginning of my pregnancy i was too sick to hold any food down but my baby is fine and i ate more into the 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Try not to stress and just be there to support her when she needs you.

Goodluck

They are normally simply lonely or no longer lonely, being concerned individuals who love animals and shouldn't have the guts to show away strays. There could also be a few who're loopy, however, hiya, anybody may also be loopy. And special individuals have special critiques on what loopy is.For illustration,a few individuals could feel you're loopy.LOL and incidentally,I AM the dictionary woman

does she still have weight on her from first pregnancy or just issues with weight in general? it sounds like shes trying to keep from gaining weight. i was the absolute most starving in my first trimester. unless shes having morning sickness and cant keep down food, i dont see how shes maling it without eating.
