A lot of girls I know are so big on the big, expensive jewelry from places such as Tiffany&Co. and such. To be honest, I don't care what the cost. I think jewelry from small boutiques are the best! While you can splurge and go for the pricey pieces from Tiffany's and Juicy Couture, you can almost be certain to see an exact replica in some random store, minus the brand names engraved on the jewelry. I guess that's all part of the purchases, but boutique jewelry is like none other. The boutique jewelry I own i've never, ever seen another like all of the pieces anywhere else. It's really neat knowing that I own somewhat of a unique find that not a lot of other people will have.. and I think it beats shelling out $4000+ on the brand stuff. Neat question!

After my 1st & only divorce, (1986)
I bought myself at least 1 piece of jewelry a year.
(3 kids, no child support,
I didn't always have $ to spend on myself,
such frivioulous gifts)
So...1 a year.
Unless the ring was a double ring,
then of course it was 2 rings.
I always chose that which was 'different / unique'.
Anyways...between 1994 all the way to 2001
I was burgalrized, robbed,
burgalrized again, and again.
I was Sooooo Cleaned out!
they even took my children's baby jewelry!!

Now, all I have is VERY Precious to me.
I only have 1 diamond ring. (wedding ring)
And on our 20th Anniversary,
my hsbnd took me shopping for Pearls.
White set, pink set, & 1 black pearl ring.
(set = necklace & bracelet)

So, there's the answer, my diamonds & pearls.
It's all I own, all I ever want evermore*...
Diamonds & Pearls.
I only want the type of stones that come from the earth.

*sapphires & emeralds,
and opals, jade, & coral, onyx.

My boyfriend's class ring. It is expensive, and I'm glad he thinks I can be trusted with the only piece of jewelry he owns. It means a lot to me.
