It the past yes but not lately. The only way to not stress over finances is to live a little below your means and have some savings built up for emergencies. I started stressing when I first decided to stay at home with the kids. We had always had an abundance of money and it just got a little tighter. I found that even after the cash flow situation greatly improved I was still stressing. I think out of habit. Just make a plan to get out of debt, make a savings plan, find ways to cut back and eventually you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep in mind that you get what you think about most. If you are always stressing about money, you'll just get more stress. Pay the bills when the money comes in and then forget about it until the next payday. To build up your savings, try to do without some things for a period of time. Cut back on the cable, cell phone, eating out, shopping. It doesn't take that long to save if you cut back on non-essential things. Hope that helps, good luck :)

Yes, I am a worrier though. I have a wife and kids and even though we lived paycheck o paycheck, and nothing was ever behind I worried about the "What ifs".
I had an opportunity and took a job overseas in support of the war, because the money would give us the cushion of money in the bank that would allow me to sleep better.
It is a HUGE sacrifice, but sometime the end does justify the means.
Good Luck

Right now luckily we are financially stable and I don't have a need to worry. I have a system for mailing so they *almost* always go in the mail when they need to.
Now I know something(I pray to God nothing does) could happen that would change our financial situation I do sometimes think of that and lose some sleep. Especially with how sick I was this last week it crossed my mind a bit.

Im sure finances keep people up at night. It's not easy, and very difficult when you have children, unless you make very good money, which a lot of people don't.
More and more emphasis seems to be put onto credit these days and the way it works is not the most easiest to understand. This makes people wary. There are resources online that can help you budget and invest (if you have a 401k plan at work).
Good luck.

Nope.
When I was younger I had financial problems for a time, I just threw the bills in the trash and slept like a baby.
When I got older and was able to pay them off, I did.

You've got to learn not to stress over every little thing or you will have a very unhappy life and it will affect your health.... trust me I use to do the same thing..... you may be a little manic too... that will make it hard to fall asleep.... try reading in bed before you're ready to sleep.... it distracts the mind and allows it to calm down
